Is a deposit required? A deposit is required to secure a date. The deposit amount is 25% of total or $100 which ever is greater.  

Can I make payments?  Yes, payment arrangements for the remaining balance after deposit is available. However, please note late payments may result in delays or cancellation of services. Communication is key. 

What if I need to cancel?  If you find yourself needing to cancel contact us immediately. Please note cancellations my be subject to retainer fee minus any expenses already incurred: 

greater than 6 months full refund 

6 to 5  months 10% of deposit retainer fee is applied

5 to 3 months 25% of deposit retainer fee is applied

3 to 2 months 50% of deposit retainer fee is applied

2 to 1 month 75% of deposit retainer fee is applied

less than 1 month 100% of deposit retainer fee is applied

 2 weeks or less 25% of total or $200 which ever is more 

Example 1: Client A books a Day of Coordinator and the ceremony has changed to a different city. The cancellation notice was sent 7 months prior to event date. Client A would receive a full refund of deposit and any additional payments that have been made minus expenses incurred.

Example 2: Client B books a child birthday party for 6/15/2026. However, on 2/14/2026, Client B cancels. Client B will receive 90% of the deposit and any additional payments that have been made minus expenses incurred.

Example 3: Client C books a child birthday party for 6/15/2026. However, on 5/14/2026, Client C cancels. Client C will receive 75% of deposit and any additional payments that have been made minus expenses incurred.

Example 4: Client D books a date for an anniversary party for 6/15/2026. However, on 6/3/2026 Client D cancels. The retainer fee will be 25% of total plus any expenses incurred.

What is meant by expenses incurred? Expenses incurred refers to products Right Choice Partyz has purchases as part of planning/hosting needs. For example, prizes that will be used as part of a package.
